This post is about tested and tried self-improvement quotes for anyone who needs inspiration in their success journey.

These self-improvement quotes will not only inspire you but will excite you to take actions towards your success goal. Whether you are a self-motivated individual or one that needs some boost, you will find these self-improvement quotes motivating and meaningful.
1. Make the game winnable – Tony Robbins
Why not? If you have decided to commit to the industry of your choice, why not start the game at a place where you have better odds of winning? Focus on what’s the most important for that goal you are working on. There could be multiple but be crystal clear about what THE most important goal it is. Once you are clear on the most important goal, continue to think about how you can win it. You will come out with some lead measures that will ensure you get there. Keep your scores on the lead measures as you take actions towards your goal.
2. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve, the fear of failure- Paulo Coelho
So true! From neuroscience perspective, fear of failing innately makes us humans afraid to try something new. Fear has been important for our survival in the paleolithic period when humans lived in caves. Given we are the descendants of the cavemen who survived, i.e. who had the fear in their DNA, it is no wonder why modern humans have inherited the fear DNA. Fastforward to modern society, we no longer need to be afraid of trying new things, as it is hardly a life or death situation. Let’s remember, we can venture out and will not be eaten alive by wild animals (most of the time). Not trying due to fear of failure is the surest way to not achieve our dreams. And the converse is true too! Trying the feared action is the surest way to achieve our dreams!
3. However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionaly look at the results – Winston Churchill
This is a reminder that a strategy is sometimes like a theory. We should periodically check in on the measures to see if the strategy is working in reality, to see if we need to course correct or to continue the path. This is a good reminder for myself as I have started following a pinterest strategy since about 6 weeks back. I have been seeing the monthly views increasing steadily per Pinterest (from 80 monthly views to 2.1k as of today) so that tells me that my strategy is working. This is in turn steadily increasing my page views which is my ultimate goal to monetizing my blog.
4. He who gains time gains everything- Benjamin Disraeli
Every human is given 24 hours a day, whether you are rich or poor, whether you are in Asia or Americas. Time is the only thing that is common for all of us. Hence, this quote should remind us of being productive with our time. Leverage and outsources to others things that are not worth your time, so you can focus your limited time on more productive and value-adding actions.
5. If everything seems under control you are not going fast enough- Mario Andretti
This quote reminds us to be not stagnant, to always be in the self-growth journey. We will feel best when we are improving in some way, does not need to be in a grand way, just some way. We feel stuck and uninspired when we don’t see growth in ourselves. If anyone feels that currently, it’s a timely reminder to think of something or someone or some place to inspire us to move forward, faster in a direction.
6. Secret to economic success, is to understand how to become more valuable in the marketplace- Jim Rohn
As Tony Robbins said in his #1 New York Times Bestseller book this is truly the fundamental to any entrepreneurship. It is this simple. If you want to earn more from your business, you need to provide more value to your client base.
7. Success is a process, not an event- Gary Halbert
As per my prior blog, when you are in the process of success journey, you are at your happiest. This is when you have an exciting goal to walk towards and you have clear motivation and inspiration to keep you moving towards self-growth. This quote is always a useful to reminder wherever you are in the success journey.
8. When I look into the future, it’s so bright it burns my eyes – Oprah Winfrey
This is just so inspiring. I’m not sure when Oprah said this, at which age, but I had to count this in the most inspiring self-improvement quotes post. I would wish for everyone to feel this when they think of their own future! I know for sure that when I take my actions today to be my own role model in 20 years time, my future does look this bright.
9. First, think. Second, believe. Third, dream. And finally, dare – Walt Disney
Walt Disney sums it up all in this simple one liner. He has somehow simplifed into 4 steps on how anyone in the past and present has become succesful. Now, it is our turn!
